New moon in Aquarius & Borage Flower Essence

New moon in Aquarius

Aquarius rules

The 11th house, also known as the house of friendships, hopes, and wishes, also signifies our social networks, associations, and our capacity for fulfilling our dreams. It represents the role of community, collaboration, and the support we receive from others. The energy of Aquarius is humanitarian, and within us, it seeks knowledge and inspiration to elevate the world. Aquarius is ruled by the Star card in the tarot and is represented by 17. The self-consciousness of the magician and the driving force of the chariot together evoke the number 8, which represents strength. The star is our new self being born. We are naked to the world in our authenticity. The innocence of hope, new beginnings, and the light at the end of the tunnel. The Star reminds us that in order to create balance and shine in the material world, we must look within ourselves through meditation and self-care. The star embodies the element of air, and its challenges are of the mind and our own limitations.

The Remedy For Courage

Borage, also known as Starflower, possesses a mesmerizing radiance resemblance to shooting stars streaking across the celestial atmosphere.  Its name, derived from the Latin term Borago, meaning "corago" or courage, reflects its inherent ability to instill bravery within us. This remarkable plant holds profound healing properties, particularly as a nervine that soothes our minds, alleviating the weight of depression and anxiety. Governed by the celestial forces of Uranus and Jupiter, Borage establishes a profound connection that expands our intuition, empowering us to confront our deepest fears and liberate our minds from self-imposed limitations. Borage serves as a guiding light, emboldening us to embrace our fears and place our trust in the divine and its infinite powers.

The distillation of alchemy is a profound spiritual process that involves the purification and transformation of the self. Just as alchemists sought to transmute base metals into gold, the distillation of the soul aims to refine and elevate one's consciousness. It is a journey of inner alchemy, where impurities and limitations are distilled away, leaving behind a purified essence of the true self. Through this process, one gains a deeper understanding of one's own nature and the interconnectedness of all things. It is a path of self-discovery, growth, and spiritual awakening, leading to a state of higher consciousness and union with the divine.

The arrival of the Peacock’s Tail marks a turning point in the journey of the hero. Up to this point, the alchemist has been working on their mental and emotional bodies. The Peacock’s Tail marks the end of the black night of the soul. The process of fermentation is where the ego of our former self is allowed to rot, decompose, and let go. It can be a difficult period as strong feelings of depression or despair may be involved as we struggle to cope with losing our past personality identifiers. The second stage of Fermentation (spiritualization) brings us back to a new life in spirit, like how grape juice changes its identity into a newborn wine that contains a higher and more active life energy.

Fermentation is a process that breaks down substances and transforms them into something new. This stage represents intense energy and creativity, where old patterns and beliefs are broken down and transformed into new and vibrant expressions of the self. It is a powerful process of transformation and growth as an activation of the inner fire and the alchemical process of transmuting old wounds, limitations, and fears into wisdom, strength, and resilience.

During this stage, we may experience a surge of inner fire and passion, igniting a spark within and fueling a deep sense of inspiration and motivation. It is a time of great energy and enthusiasm as we tap into our innate potential and explore new possibilities, embracing the metamorphic power within us and allowing it to guide us toward a new, exciting path.
